An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Transport Scheduler to join this reputable company distributing health and hygiene products based in the Western Suburbs.
Your duties will include, although are not limited to:
- Collating of daily orders and planning/scheduling of deliveries
- Logistics support for the site
- Daily interaction, planning and bookings with external transport providers
- Support warehouse team with all necessary documents to ensure all is in order prior to carrier leaving
- Communicate well with drivers and solve any delivery issues immediately
- Solve delivery issues raised by customers or internal team
- Provide customers with accurate and up to date invoices
- Other general data entry and administrative duties
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Experience using an ERP system - SAP an advantage
- Good computer skills - must be competent using Excel
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Available for an immediate start
