The Opportunity

Due to a successful career development move, we are looking for a motivated Finance Administrator to join our Business Support team. You will perform financial and administrative support duties for National Transport Primary Connect business. This is a vibrant role, not any day is the same, and would suit someone wanting variety in their work, and enjoys that bit of pressure everyday.
Key responsibilities include:
- Enter rates into TMS (transportation management system) with high data integrity
- Assist with queries on rates and fuel levies
- Investigate and resolve charging discrepancies
- Maintain a regular communication portal with accounts, carriers and vendors
- Perform analysis & reporting as requested by the business
- Manage the manual recharge process, conduct audit checks and process internal invoices
- Manage weekly functions to ensure deadlines are meet in a professional manner
- Management of the Primary Freight Mailbox including responding to internal customers, vendor and carrier queries in a timely manner
We operate in a Google Suite, Salesforce & SAP environment.
About You
You are someone who thrives in a team environment and can also take the initiative to get the job done. A person who is able to work well under pressure and is self disciplined to get daily / weekly tasks done.
You will also bring:
- Experience in accounts payable, receivable, administration and customer service roles
- Effective time management, discipline and financial awareness
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to take on work, prioritise and stay level-headed
- Demonstrated effective problem-solving approaches
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel & Word and/or Google
- Ability to communicate effectively with Stakeholders
- Understanding and working knowledge of Salesforce & SAP is advantageous
- Previous experience in the Transport industry would be highly advantageous
