About the position
As an Experienced Travel Booking Associate you will join our team of incredible people, where delivering exceptional customer service is a passion and a natural part of who you are. You are a resilient, professional high performing team member who has the customer at the heart of everything you do. The main purpose of your role will be to provide informed and insightful recommendations, delivering a seamless customer experience.
What will you be doing:
- Supporting our premium customers via voice (phone) to ensure they have the best possible booking experience.
- Providing exceptional service to our premium customers to make any necessary changes or add additional services post their initial booking.
- Engage with your customers to ensure they have access to all our travel products from airfares, hotels, transfers and holiday experiences.
- Maintain knowledge of all of our exciting offers and destinations that we service.
- Maintain knowledge of our premium credit card types as well as benefits available to premium customers.
- Have experience working with Global Distributions Systems (GDS)
- Work out of SABRE and a variety of internal tools and systems to assist guests with flight, hotel and ground transportation bookings.
- Work out of AMADEUS and a variety of internal tools and systems to assist guests with flight, hotel and ground transportation bookings.
- Experience in using GDS Systems specifically SABRE and/or AMADEOUS.
- Call centre or travel related experience.
- Frontline experience working with clients.
- Knowledge of fares, airlines contracts, rules & regulations and ticketing
- Knowledge of ticketing procedures for Airlines, Hotels and Ground transportation
- Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate through multiple systems to research information quickly.
- Ability to effectively navigate online travel websites to answer traveller inquiries
- Permanent Full Time (38 hr week) and Part time hours available
