The primary role purpose of this role is the management of Treasury Operations for the APAC and Far East regions Non-Life segment. This is a new role and will oversee and coordinate Treasury operations related deliverables.
A key focus of the role will be to deliver value-driven opportunities to incorporate standardised processes, system improvements or implementations, consolidating and enhancing bank relationships, plus cash management structures to enhance liquidity.
The role will provide daily and strategic oversight of Treasury Operations for the APAC region.
The position will also support our internal business partners to ensure that their new payment and collection solutions are delivered in line with best practice, utilises our core Treasury system infrastructure, and is in accordance with our global strategy.
Your Responsibilities:
- Leverage the APAC TTP infrastructure to identify efficiencies in Treasury Operations by implementing standardised processes and system enhancements.
- Oversee all existing Treasury Operations related deliverables and reporting relating to banking, cash and liquidity management.
- Drive initiatives to innovate payment and cash management practices.
- Review the existing support of the offshore Treasury team and enhance/add to the existing delivery model with additional back-office functions.
- BAU contact role for regional banks.
- Maintain awareness of new payment technologies and other Treasury related technical advances.
- Ensure the requirements of the APAC region are included in the scoping of any new global Treasury Operations projects or initiatives.
- Support the delivery of global Treasury Operations projects in the APAC region.
