Treatment Coordinator

We’re searching for an enthusiastic person to add to our Reception Team who can provide patient check-outs and treatment coordination for our patients. Are you great with people, passionate about dental care and skilled in scheduling patient treatments?

You will work to build successful relationships with our patients, building trust and creating an exceptional patient-focused environment in a new patient-experience based reception-concept involving multiple reception duties and roles across a large team.  There is room to grow and progress your dental career.

As a Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator you’re responsible for ensuring every patient has exceptional experiences.  You will work with patients from the clinical handover for patient check-outs, processing payments, making financial arrangements, completing documents and scheduling appointments. The role is to bringing every patient experience together and coordinate future care.

You will work closely with the Practice Manager and Front Office Leader.

To support you, Brisbane Smiles has a large team, advanced technology and dental laboratory services onsite. We’re conveniently located in Toowong, 4km from the CBD.

A Treatment Coordinator performs a variety of daily tasks. You will be responsible for checking-out patients, making financial arrangements, and scheduling appointments with multiple complex areas including Anaesthetist bookings, Laboratory Bookings and ensuring special orders are made for treatments.  

To succeed in this role, you must have a passion for people and patient experiences along with an attention-to-detail. Therefore, we’re after a great communicator and someone who takes initiative to ensure every single patient has the best experience.

The daily tasks include:

• Completing handover from dentists and ohts
• Check-outs following appointments including health fund processing and out of pocket payments
• scheduling future appointments
• follow-up of non-scheduled appointments
• recall management
• patient care follow-ups
• treatment consent documents
• making financial arrangements
• answer patient queries

Requirements:

• High School Certificate or equivalent
• Hospitality, retail, admin or customer service experience
