Tree Workers

About the role: 

ETS holds contracts to clear vegetation along the electricity network throughout NSW, 

We are now looking to recruit additional Crew Members to fill the following positions in our Narrabri team:

• Chipper Operators 
• Ground Crews (competent in felling trees from the ground)  
• Climbers
• EWP Operators (EWP High Risk Work Licence required) 
• Foilar Spray Crews

Away work is required with these roles – in this instance a generous Living Away from Home Allowance (LAHA) will be provided.

About you

• Highly safety conscious
• Physically fit & healthy, and love the great outdoors
• Highly motivated, with a positive attitude & able to work as part of a team
• Confident around machinery and willing to undertake all roles in a tree crew including Climbing, Chipper Operation, Ground clearing, and cutting from an EWP 

Previous experience in the vegetation industry is desirable, but more importantly we are looking for applicants who are a good fit with our culture and values, and who have good transferrable skills i.e. if you come from an agricultural, labouring background we would like to hear from you.

Skills & Qualifications

• General Construction Safety White Card – essential
• Chainsaw operation -highly regarded
• Heavy Vehicle Truck licence (HR or MR) – or ability to obtain - essential
• EWP licence – highly regarded

The following qualifications are also favourable:

• Cert II ESI qualification
• Cert 3 Arboriculture
• Current First Aid qualification
