About Trion
The Trion project is an oil opportunity in Mexico and is located in the Gulf of Mexico, approximately 180km off the Mexican coastline and 30km south of the US/Mexico maritime boarder at a water depth of approximately 2,500 meters. Trion will be one of Mexico's first deep-water oil developments and is targeting FID readiness in 2023.
Trion is Woodside Energy's operated production asset within the Perdido basin in ultra Deepwater offshore Mexico with first oil targeted in late 2027 with development drilling expected in start in late 2025. Trion field's development consists of 12 producers, 10 water injectors, and 2 gas injectors tied back via subsea infrastructure to a new floating production host facility with 100,000 bopd capacity.
The selected concept for Trion is a subsea development connected to a semi-submersible FPU capable of producing and transferring 100,000 barrels of oi per day to a floating storage and offloading (FSO) vessel. Oil from the FSO is expected to be exported to the market, with excess gas transferred back via a pipeline to existing offshore gas export infrastructure.
In 2023, the project is expected to progress the necessary technical, commercial, and regulatory work streams to support FID readiness and commence execution activities if sanctioned.
An opportunity exists to be part of our project team supporting our future Mexico business, during construction, installation to offshore commissioning, start-up, and future operations.
About the Role
The Administrative Assistant position reports to the Country Manager in Mexico. The assistant role is essential for supporting the project, Country Manager and Mexico team with administrative duties and requires excellent organization, collaboration, and communication skills along with strong relationship building capabilities.
The candidate must be able to operate in a performance driven environment and within a matrix organization and shall have a good understanding of cultural diversity. The candidate shall have successfully worked with executives. Equally, the candidate shall be able to demonstrate the ability to efficiently collaborate with the team and contribute to the team culture based on trust, respect, teamwork while focusing on achieving performance excellence.
The candidate should have experience acting as Office Manager to coordinate General Services, Agenda, Travel Reservations, Transportation arrangements, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and administration support for the Country Manager, local team and team members in Houston.
  • Seamless coordination of all administrative tasks.
  • Provide calendar management and meeting co-ordination.
  • Manage travel request and travel booking.
  • Manage expense reports.
  • Facilitate the induction and onboarding of new starters, floor inductions, visitors, etc.
  • Provide administrative support to team as required, including assimilation of PEMEX Secondees.
  • Ensure adherence to Company approved policies, procedures, code of business conduct.
Skills & Experience:
  • Accountability, being able to set high goals and standards personally and with team members.
  • Decisive, with a sense of urgency and ability to drive issues to closure.
  • This includes a proactive, goal orientated performance mindset with the initiative to influence positively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems unassisted.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Keep confidentiality while having access to key critical business information.
  • 5+ years administrative support or coordination role.
  • High-level interpersonal skills, which include the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of
  • the project's team.
  • Experience in working in a multi-functional/project environment would be desirable.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office - Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Experience dealing with complex international travel requests.
  • English - Spanish bilingual.
