The Opportunity
McGees Adelaide Property Management division is busier than ever and is looking for an enthusiastic Trust Account Administrator who aligns with our values: honesty, loyalty, values relationships, trusting and caring to join our team.
As a Trust Account Administrator in our office, you will be genuinely passionate about the pivotal role you play. You will have exceptional customer skills, with a willingness to go that extra mile. You will have outstanding communication, interpersonal skills and a great attitude towards your team and work.
Key Duties
- Administer and manage commercial property management Trust Accounts
- Daily receipting and reconciliation of commercial property rental payments
- Entering invoices for both owners and tenants
- Receipting, disbursing and management of rental bonds
- Accurate record keeping, and effective Trust Account compliance
- Following company procedures to ensure compliance with accounting and other legislative requirements
- Building strong relationships internally with property managers and administrators
- Building strong relationships externally with landlords and creditors
- Generate commercial property reports
- Managing tenant arrears
- Process owner and creditor payments
- Managing Accounts Payable and creditor payments
- End-of-Month and End-of-Year Processing
- Annual Trust Account audit preparation
- Assist with GST and BAS lodgment, as well as budgeting and forecasting reports
Experience / Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years' experience working as a Trust Account Administrator in Commercial Real Estate
- Experience using Cirrus 8 desirable
- Ability to deal with a variety of complex issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlines.
- You'll have superior communication skills, with the ability to build and foster successful relationships with clients and stakeholders. You also to have the capacity to think strategically and problem solve effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Professional presentation with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work in a team environment, but capable of working autonomously.
- Excellent computer skills.
