The Opportunity
McGees Adelaide Property Management division is busier than ever and is looking for an enthusiastic Property Manager Assistant who aligns with our values: honesty, loyalty, values relationships, trusting and caring, to join our team.
This opportunity would suit someone who has existing experience in a property management role, including property graduates and residential property experience.
As a Property Manager Assistant in our office, you will be genuinely passionate about the pivotal role you play. You will have exceptional customer skills, with a willingness to go that extra mile. You will have outstanding communication, interpersonal skills and a great attitude towards your team and work.
Key Duties
- Supporting Property Managers with day-to-day activities associated with managing commercial client/property portfolios.
- Assist with rent arrears management.
- Implement rent reviews in consultation with the Property manager including implementing CPI rent reviews.
- Maintain and establish ongoing relationships with tenants, owners and contractors.
- Participate and contribute to internal staff property management meetings.
- Work in a team of highly experienced commercial Property Managers.
- Maintain diary dates and key property dates, including insurance renewals.
- Provide property information and assistance to tenants and owners as required.
- Raise monthly tenant invoices and owner statements through property management software Cirrus8.
- Assist in Outgoings Budget and Reconciliation requirements of the lease.
Experience / Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years' experience working in the property industry
- Experience using Cirrus 8 desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, capacity to think strategically, and problem solve effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Professional presentation with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to work in a team environment, but capable of working autonomously.
- Excellent computer skills.
