Trust Account Manager / Bookkeeper

John Dethridge Strata Services is seeking a part-time Trust Account Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team in the vibrant Fremantle CBD.

We are a boutique, family owned strata management agency with over 35 years experience.

The Ideal Candidate will be/have:

• Exceptional financial literacy and/or accounting background
• A keen attention to detail
• Commitment to problem solving and a collaborative team player
• Willingness to learn and competency with I.T
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Police clearance and current drivers licence

This role would be perfect for a parent re-entering the workforce or anyone with a financial/accounting background and an interest in property.

Flexible working hours available subject to negotiation - option for 3 days per week 9am-5pm or 4 days per week 9am-3pm.

Salary will be negotiated based on experience.

Key duties include:

• Processing daily bank downloads for strata company Trust Accounts and importing BPAY/ EFT transaction data 
• Assisting with coding of expenses and payment of creditor invoices
• Calculating and issuing of strata levy invoices
• Responding to accounts/levy queries from owners, property managers and tradespeople by telephone/email.
• Management of creditor compliance, levy arrears, property settlements and insurance renewals
• Management of strata records/databases and assisting with importation/exportation of data upon take-on/handover of management
