An incredible career move for an experienced real estate Trust Accountant that is looking for a professional office and a role they can take ownership of and department they have input over. This role will see you manage the trust accounts for both sales and property management along with progress to overseeing all general accounts and working with the leadership team to continue to steer the business to success.
- Invest, reconcile, disburse sales deposits
- Enter invoices, reconciliations, receipting
- Prepare mid-month and end of month
- Prepare sales settlement statements and marketing invoices
- Process all invoices for vendor paid marketing
- Act as point of contact for landlords and tenants regarding ledgers
- Manage the payment of strata, insurances, water etc
- Process commission payments and run payroll
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable
- Manage 4 assistants and the workflow across the department
- Attend management meetings
- Look at cost saving solutions and streamlining processes
- Assist with transition to paperless business transfer of data
The right candidate will have:
- Experience in real estate trust account management
- Experience with managing trust accounts for 1000 + managements
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience using Property Tree
- Tech savvy and passionate about working in a paperless environment
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- A team player who enjoys working with others
- Confident communication skills
- Full Australian work rights
