The Role
Working within the Waste and Resource Recovery team, you would be actively involved in projects across Victoria including landfill engineering and design, cell design, construction quality assurance (CQA), contaminated land management, licence monitoring and compliance, project management, liaison with environmental regulators (i.e. VIC EPA), masterplan engineering, with consideration to drainage, erosion/sediment control plans, waste transfer stations and emerging treatment technologies.
This team offers the opportunities to gain exposure to specialist skills across the national team with a dedicated mentor.
About You
- Studying a relevant engineering degree (Civil, Environmental or similar) in your penultimate or final year
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Strong academic record in completed subjects
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to effectively manage one's time and workload
- A developing knowledge of analytical methods, tools, and principles
