Underground Drill Fitter

Swick Mining Services Swick Mining Services are seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join our Maintenance team in support of our site-based Operations division. Earn up to $78.00 per hour plus Superannuation, on a full-time basis dependent on experience.   The Role Duties are (but not limited to) the following: Servicing, maintenance and fault finding on underground Diamond Drilling equipment Ensure all servicing, repairs and testing is completed and paperwork returned to scheduler.

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on drill rigs. Maintain Underground Drilling equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Coordinate with teams, communicate effectively, and ensure seamless drilling operations.

Participate in ordering and maintenance of relevant parts/stock Management of costs and quality of repairs being undertaken Daily completion report and submission of time sheets The Candidate The successful candidate will be required to meet the following criteria: Proven experience working on drill rigs, preferably underground Relevant trade qualification Basic hydraulic & electrical diagnostics and component rebuilds Effective troubleshooting and quick problem resolution skills.

Current manual C Class Driver License National Police Clearance (within last 6 months) Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen) Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment Effective communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to safety standards and hazard identification Attention to detail and time management The Benefits Across our entire business, our people come first.
