The Role
As part of our Marine, Cargo & Transit team, your primary purpose will be to Underwrite, develop and service a Marine portfolio
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong market presence
- Manage broker trading relationships
- Data and risk analysis
- Efficient and accurate administration of marine portfolio
- Execution of annual business plan
- Liaise with both Marine and Non Marine colleagues
- Develop an advanced level of Marine underwriting knowledge
The Successful Candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Underwriting, Broking or similar role
- A detailed understanding of the Australian Insurance Market
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work both independently and also as part of a team
- Experience in negotiating, influencing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships
- High level of initiative and proactive attitude
