About the role
Our client is looking for a skilled User Experience Designer to enhance the overall functionality and usability of their platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to create engaging and seamless User Experiences, ensuring that every interaction is user-friendly and adds value to the user's experience.
You will be someone who is not only passionate about design but also about making a meaningful impact on the User Experience, with a flexibility to adapt design fidelity as needed.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with user researchers and a Product Manager to deeply understand user needs, behaviours, and challenges.
- Working in tandem with the product manager to grasp requirements and business limitations.
- Work with other designers to conceptualise and prototype solutions that effectively address core user needs and issues.
- Work closely with developers to understand technical limitations and create detailed interaction specifications for implementation.
- Demonstrated strong ability to create and iterate intuitive and engaging User Experiences.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment, engaging with user researchers, developers, a product manager, and stakeholders to align design solutions with business objectives.
- A deep understanding of design tools is essential (for example Figma and Miro), along with the flexibility to produce designs at varying fidelity levels, tailored to the specific requirements of the project's context and objectives.
- Familiarity HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Australian Citizen- must be able to obtain Baseline clearance
