Glenella Care is currently seeking a Casual & Permanent Part Time for the following positions:

- Nursing Care Assistants (AIN's)
- Diversional Therapist
- Physio Aide (Leave Relief)
- Environmental Services which include; Kitchen, Cleaning & Laundry
- Maintenance (Leave Relief)
The Facility
Located in beautiful Mackay, Glenella Care is a for profit standalone Aged Care Facility with 108 beds. Our aim is to promote and maintain a community where older people and people suffering from dementia can live their life in a caring, supportive home. We provide high level, innovative quality aged care services and are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of individualised care and services through our highly skilled and professional team.

Our positions are shift work but rewarding making a difference everyday to the lives of the residents, families & staff.
The Roles
Registered Nurses - Are required to work all shifts which include night shift. You will be leading a team of fabulous care staff & use your exceptional clinical skills to deliver excellent, personalised care & foster a fun, nurturing environment.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Registered Nurse
- A minimum of 3 years current and broad clinical nursing experience in Aged Care
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- NDIS Yellow Card or willing to obtain
- Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Standards and the Accreditation process.
Nursing Care Assistants - will be required to meet the care needs of our residents. shifts are AM, PM & ND.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or working towards
- NDIS Yellow Card or willing to obtain
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Diversional Therapists - Co-ordinate programs of therapies that help maintain each residents individual needs. Shifts are: AM & PM weekend work is also required
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III/IV in Lifestyle & Leisure desired but not essential
- NDIS Yellow Card or willing to obtain
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Physio Aide Therapists - Co-ordinate physio programs that help maintain each residents individual needs. Shifts are: Annual Leave & Sick Leave Relief (AM & PM weekend work is also required)
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or Physio desired but not essential
- NDIS Yellow Card or willing to obtain
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Environmental Services - Maintain a clean living environment in personal & communal areas. Provide laundry services to the facility & residents clothing, Preparing, cooking & serving food in accordance with standard recipes while meeting the nutritional & hydration requirements of the residents and to assist the cook of meal preparations & delivery.
Shifts range from AM & PM and every 2nd weekend.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III/IV desired but not essential
- Police clearance through the form of an Aged Care Criminal History Check
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
Maintenance - Annual & sick leave relief. Liasing with contractors, General yard maintenance, cleaning & maintenance repairs.
