About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, results focused Vehicle Body Builder to join our enthusiastic team.
You will be working for a vibrant, innovative, expanding, company that prides itself as being a “solution” to our customers’ needs. With our business philosophy in mind your focus will be on meeting our customer’s requirements and expectations.
This role reports directly to the Workshop Manager.
We are offering an above the award wage and the rates will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and qualifications.
Key responsibilities:
- Assembly of Hook loaders, Skip loaders and Rear loader compactors.
- Heavy vehicle chassis preparation, prior to fitting of truck mounted equipment.
- Interpretation of technical drawings
- Installing Hook Loaders, Skip loaders and Rear loader compactors
- Keeping the Workshop in a Clean and Tidy Manner
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role,

- Ability to follow directions and understand logical flow of work.
- Team player with the ability to work independently when required.
- Take pride in their workmanship with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
- HR Truck Licence and Forklift Licence would be an advantage.
- Relevant Trade Qualifications
- Be a competent MIG Welder.
- Heavy Vehicle fitting and assembly experience.
- Uniforms and Product Training will be provided to the Successful Applicant
