Working closely with the Buying Valuing Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining sufficient used stock for the dealership through purchasing vehicles from a variety of sources.
Duties will include:
- Liaising with purchasing agents and customers on wholesale matters
- Main contact between the used cars department and wholesale buying and selling agents
- Purchasing vehicles from a variety of sources, carrying out appraisals/ valuations.
- Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders, both internal and external
- Prepare and analyse reports on all vehicles received, focusing on attention to detail
- Lead and manage all day-to-day activities related to the vehicle procurement department
About you:

Prior experience in automotive sales roles will be highly regarded however, individuals that are passionate sales people or who have a customer service background are more than welcomed.
You will ideally possess:
- Previous experience in the wholesale, purchasing and sales of vehicles.
- Mechanical knowledge/background is ideal
- A basic working knowledge of the wholesale vehicle market
- Have the drive to succeed and meet dealership monthly KPI targets
- Ability to negotiate with private sellers
- Maintain relationships with trade buyers for disposal of unwanted stock.
- Good Time Management Skills
