Overview of Position
The Vendor Management Coordinator role will take responsibility for Vendor Management, including communication, evaluation, agreements, changes, monitoring and review.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the ongoing execution of the Quality systems related to Vendor Management.
- Coordinate and maintain the supplier qualification/audit register and schedule.
- Author, review and approve Quality department documents and records related to the Vendor Management Systems.
- Conduct external audits and write audit reports.
- Interpret Quality and Regulatory requirements and ensure company policies and procedures comply.
Qualifications
- A science degree in an appropriate discipline - completion of chemistry/biochemistry/microbiology science degree/s (preferred).
- Knowledge of: GLP, GMP or ISO 13485 regulations and compliance in one or more of the following regulatory frameworks: TGA, FDA, MHRA, EMA.
- Quality department coordination experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sector, particularly with organisations that perform aseptic manufacture.
Selection criteria
Proven experience in Quality systems, and particularly vendor qualification quality systems and application of quality risk management to product quality.
Experience working and collaborating with key stakeholders including those in senior management, project management, product development, operations, vendors and clients.
Experience in auditing suppliers and assessing and reviewing supplier performance. Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills, task-orientated with a solutions-focused approach.
