- $70,587 pa + super (up to 12%) + leave loading

About our opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Venue Support Officer to join our team at the Morayfield Sport and Events Centre (MSEC).
MSEC is a dynamic and busy multi-purpose venue, comprising of five indoor timber sprung courts, a large indoor event space, meeting rooms and an onsite cafe that can be hired to facilitate and cater events and activities for over 3000 people, 7 days a week.
In this role, you will be responsible providing positive customer experiences. You will achieve this by:
- Providing customers and hirers with assistance in relation to their use of facilities and resources
- Providing prompt and efficient administrative support including responding to customer requests and enquiries
- Liaising with stakeholders in relation to venue bookings and reconciliations
- Supporting the planning, promotion and delivery of venue programs, activities and Events
- Undertaking venue finance and procurement processes
- Supporting the daily operations of the venue as required, including customer service, catering, technical support and venue set up as per booking requirements.
Note: The role is Monday to Friday although the successful candidate may be required to work on weekends for major events.

You will be willing to assist with event set up and pack down procedures and be proactive in your approach and attitude.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial procedures and previous financial experience. This role is responsible for the management of all venue bookings and client liaison for regular hire and major event planning. Previous experience with ticketing systems will be highly regarded.
In addition, you will have or be willing to promptly obtain the following:
- Working with Children Blue Card
- Apply First Aid Certification
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
