We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Venue Manager to lead our speakeasy bar experience.
The Ruby Lounge is Mantra Lighthouses newest addition to Bunbury.
With a New Orleans-inspired feel óffering classic cocktails, the world’s best wine & regular live jazz the The Ruby Lounge will be the ultimate social venue for that after work drink or gathering.
The location will be a vibrant backdrop for a line-up of ever-changing talent & live performances from all over the region.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a cocktail bar and nightclub/speakeasy.
- Strong mixology skills and knowledge of beverage trends (cocktails, spirits & wines)
- Have a confident level of knowledge in wines/spirits/cocktails and contribute and elevate the development of our beverage offering.
- Implement beverage-focused staff training and development.
- Proven success in driving revenue, profits, and managing stock control.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to think on your feet and multi-task.
- Self-motivated, makes use of checklists and communication methods to manage own workload and provide regular updates.
- A strong knowledge of liquor and WHS compliance, with the ability to work with security and regulators as required.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, and website development – a marketing background is essential.
- Ability and background in talent management, bookings, and procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot unexpected situations calmly.
- Strong experience in leadership and events.
- Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol.
- Barista experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Main Duties Include:
- Support Event Operations manager to run large events within the event space.
- Run smaller events, leading the team through service ensuring the team deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage The Ruby Lounge outlet and the team members working within
- Communicate directly with clients and suppliers.
- Working closely with the Operations Manager and Hotel General Manager
