The successful applicant for this role will need to be dynamic, well presented, commercially savvy and pro-active to the needs of our guests and a real people person. In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of this iconic venue offering a unique crafted dining experience, including effective management of a dynamic team.This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your food and beverage leadership and customer service at The Star Gold Coast.A few of your responsibilities:
- Work with the support of the Assistant Venue Manager to drive venue profitability and efficiencies
- Analysis and management of labour and cost of goods to maximise venue revenue
- Mentoring and developing your team to maximise engagement and retention
- Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
- Extensive venue management experience in bars, bistros executive lounges or restaurants
- A hands-on operational approach and be passionate about developing your career within hospitality
- Outstanding standards, professionalism, and a commitment to guest service
- Confidence to lead a large and diverse team (150+ TMs) that provides mentoring to get the best out of each individual
- Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol
