Guildhall is housed in a beautiful heritage building in North Fremantle. We host events for up to 120 pax including long table feasts and stand-up cocktail parties for weddings, milestone celebrations and corporate events.
The Role
Working as part of a leadership team, alongside the Event Manager and Head Chef, you will be responsible for all FOH operational aspects of the venue from beverage list development, stock control, rostering and staff development, and of course, hosting and leading your team to deliver exceptional events.
Events are mostly centred around Fridays and Saturdays so the rest of the week can be structured to suit other commitments you may have whether it be study, family or play!
About you
- A minimum of 2 years hospitality management experience (bar or restaurant)
- A love for events and hosting great parties!
- Excellent bar operations and beverage knowledge
- Sound knowledge of financials
- Outstanding communication and organisational skills
- The ability to lead and mentor a team of both bar and floor staff
- Proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet
- Self-motivation and a happy can-do attitude
- Eye for detail and a sixth sense for what needs to be done to ensure events are memorable, for all the right reasons!
