As the Venue Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our 5 guest rooms, restaurant, and exciting on-site amenities such as 24/7 Gym facilities and Marina. Our hotel is not just a place to stay; it's a hub of activity, hosting events like live music, trivia nights, and mouth watering food specials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing staff rosters and ensuring adequate staffing levels
- Overseeing Staff wages
- Stepping in as needed to assist with various tasks
- Managing stock ordering and monitoring financial expenditures
- Training and mentoring new staff members
- Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety regulations
This is a 3-month trial position with the potential for long-term employment. Ideally we would love someone local to the Launceston area, as it is only located 30minutes from our hotel.
