About the role
As Venue Manager, you'll oversee our daily operations, including the restaurant, events, cellar door, and tours. Your role is to ensure seamless operations, lead a cohesive team, and maintain our reputation as the premier destination in the Yarra Valley. Weekend and public holiday availability required.
Duties:
- Ensure seamless cooperation and teamwork between front and back of house staff.
- Collaborate with wedding coordinators to deliver faultless event experiences.
- Manage cellar door operations and retail experiences.
- Maintain high service standards across restaurant, cellar door, and weddings.
- Review menu items, production costs, and margin control.
- Inventory management and maintain supplier relationships.
- Maintain highest venue presentation.
- Respond promptly to booking inquiries and maintain staff training and recruitment.
- Part of the executive management team.

- Extensive experience in hospitality management, preferably in a high-end restaurant, tourism and events setting.
- Proven track record of effectively managing teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Strong understanding of wine and food service, including menu development and cost control.
- Experience in overseeing cellar door operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, staff, and customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
