Job Overview: In a nutshell the job is to manage the venue! Manage and lead the FOH and BOH teams. Engage with your staff to deliver the best customer experience possible. Manage the financial elements of the business including labour costs, cost of goods and event costs. Implement new strategies to drive revenue growth. Work closely with the owners to continue to develop this great opportunity to be the cornerstone of Cervantes. Become a key and integral member of the community. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and approve efficient rosters within budgeted guidelines.
- Effectively manage and track Labour Costs.
- Order and monitor all beverage related inventory.
- Complete inventory stocktakes.
- Oversee BOH inventory management and ordering.
- Effectively manage and track Cost of Goods.
- Manage the day-to-day venue operations.
- Manage, lead and train our small team.
- Ensure the highest level of customer experience is delivered.
- Maintain a high standard of venue cleanliness.
- Create and implement revenue driving strategies.
- Report directly to the owners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years’ experience in a Venue Manager role.
- Demonstrated experience in working within a small team.
- Demonstrated experience in driving revenue growth.
- Demonstrated experience running the backend of POS systems.
- Hold or be willing to obtain an Approved Managers card.
- Available to work nights and weekends.
- Available and excited to work in the small town of Cervantes
- Must have legal working rights in Australia.
