About the role:
The primary object of this role is to manage, enhance & grow retail operations at Marvel Stadium, encompassing AFL, LE Events, Concerts and Sporting Events. The role primarily involves operations of the retail outlets, with an emphasis on our newly established Superstore. During event days, supervision of seven outlets within the stadium becomes a key responsibility. You will be managing a diverse range of events, from AFL, Cricket, and International Music Acts, requiring adaptability and flexibility throughout the week.
Responsibilities: (not inclusive)
- Cultivate and sustain corporate partnerships and ongoing business affiliations.
- Coordinate with Head Office and, when necessary, external event organisers to ensure implementation of specific events requirements.
- Liaise with Marvel Stadium management and stay informed on stadium news and developments.
- Communicate with all relevant stakeholders e.g. Head of Retail regarding AFL events.
- Manage inventory levels at stadium outlets and reporting on product sales to align stock levels and planning with scheduled events, consumer demand and anticipated crowd sizes,
- Address staff or customer issues promptly and professionally.
- Ability to work evening and weekends when required for this position.
About you:
- 3+ years’ experience I retails store management.
- High level of attention to detail, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical knowledge to review sales data, reports and financial expenditure.
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Previous event and or project management experience.
- Good interpersonal and leadership skills
- Knowledge of AFL and general interests in sports.
