Vet Program Manager For Secondary Education

Full time or Permanent Part time (4 days)

Axial Training is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated VET in Schools Program Manager to join our team in Brisbane and reports to our Director VET in Schools. This role is integral in delivering quality vocational education within secondary schools, guiding and inspiring students towards meaningful career pathways. We value experience in managing both teams and classroom settings, along with the capability to oversee day-to-day training operations and support our teaching staff in fostering student progress.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Dynamic, forward thinking and supportive working environment.
• Engage and empower Year 11, & 12 students through the delivery of the Diploma of Business and faculty streams, incorporating real-life management experiences to enrich the learning experience.
• The role involves daily travel across the Brisbane region and surrounding areas, with both face-to-face and virtual delivery modes.

Requirements:

• Exceptional student engagement and motivation skills.
• A passion for teaching, learning and teamwork is essential, as is the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Oversee and support our fabulous training team along with our valued students.
• Experience in virtual session delivery and familiarity with learning management systems.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of recent supervising or managing teams’ experience.
• Teaching and learning requirements: Minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment with current classroom teaching/delivery experience.
• Industry qualification: Minimum Diploma of Business essential. 
• A current Blue Card or the ability to obtain one, along with a valid driver's license.
