- Minimum 5 years’ management experience in a 3PL transport/ warehousing
- High level of negotiation skills and focus on meeting customer requirements.
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and review financial reports (revenue, costs, P&Ls) to ensure that financial objectives are met.
- Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and legislative and industry requirements/standards.
- Understanding of safety and quality systems, and the implementation of continuous improvement processes
- Demonstrated ability leading teams to deliver business objectives and key performance indicators
This position will be responsible for the entire management of the operation, facility and customer relations of Victoria. This position reports directly to the General Manager of Warehousing .The successful applicant will identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency's and ensure all activities are performed safely across all operations and sectors .Advanced customer service experience with the ability to engage and liaise at multiple levels.Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment,Hands-on, can-do attitude and approach.Role will include
- Leading teams to deliver business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor state performance and implement corrective action as required to ensure operational objectives are met.
- Accountable for warehousing sites in VIC. Accountable for operational and financial performance
- Prepare,monitor and review reports including revenue, costs, and P&Ls to ensure sites remain on track to meet financial objectives.
- Ensure all practices and operations are performed as per company policies, procedures and legislative/industry requirements.
- Ensure all staff are trained to an appropriate standard and hold necessary licenses and certificates to fulfil their role.
- Monitor and manage performance objectives with direct reports including KPI checks and reviews and performance appraisals.
- Taking responsibility for workplace health and safety issues of workplaces in consultation with relevant internal stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with company policy, legislative and certification requirements
