About the role
The Production Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising the manufacturing process. You will coordinate and manage all aspects of production to ensure efficiency, quality and compliance.

• Direct and oversee the entire production process in two locations – slaughterhouse and packing room
• Lead and motivate a team of production staff creating a culture of accountability and team work
• Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Ensure a safe working environment for all production staff and provide training
• Work closely with the quality, operations and senior leadership team
• Prepare regular reports on production metrics including output volumes, quality control results, and resource utilisation

Skills and experience

• Proven experience in production management within the meat or poultry industry
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, with a focus on controlling the production process from unload through to dispatch
• Strong commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to identify and address any potential blind spots in the production processes
• In-depth knowledge of meat or poultry processing techniques, equipment and regulatory requirements
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
• Familiarity with relevant software applications for production planning, inventory management and data analysis
• Vietnamese or Mandarin speakers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
