Our award-winning refurbished community centre and café/dining facilities are the heart of the community and are constantly filled with music, events and activities. The village consists of both Independent living units and Serviced Apartments (No Aged Care).Our lovely team at Dee Why Gardens are currently seeking a Village Support Officer to join them on a casual basis. A variety of shifts available including morning and afternoon shifts combined with sleepover shifts. Additional assistance will be required for leave coverage.Reporting the Assistant Village Manager, your duties will include:Assisting with our colourful village eventsAssisting to serve meals & beveragesOverseeing our community facilitiesResponding to resident enquiriesResponding to call outsUndertaking first aid and initiating emergency services where requiredBasic admin tasksConducting welfare checks on residentsShiftsShifts will involve working morning shifts and afternoon/evening shifts (active) with a sleepover (inactive)Additional assistance will be required for leave coverage.About YouThe successful candidate will be enthusiastic, committed, dependable and have a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. A professional and positive approach is required at all times to ensure that all residents' needs are met.
