Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Vineyard Hand to work with our small, passionate team in day-to-day vineyard operations. Working directly alongside our Vineyard Manager and Winemaker, this role involves various vineyard tasks, with a constant focus on continuous improvement and sustainable practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in tractor driving and using vineyard implements.
Responsibilities:
• Perform vineyard tasks and operate implements. Must be able to drive tractors.
• Communicate effectively with managers and follow precise vineyard procedures for quality wine production.
• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain the overall presentation of the estate.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for all colleagues.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in tractor driving is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods.
• Current Chem Cert and car and forklift licences preferable.
