A global leader in mining technology with a mining software product development centre here in Brisbane which is part of a wider global effort needs you to join their team. As a key part of their overall digital strategy, this organisation has developed an integrated family of mining machine-based information technology products that interconnect the autonomous, semi-autonomous & manned mining machines to provide real time guidance, tracking, monitoring and supervisory control of the operational mining fleet. The product range links with other mining and business information systems and is an integral part of the organisation's mining technology vision.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager of Autonomous Mine Haul Trucks and dozing, the purpose of this role is to further develop the Autonomous Mine Haul truck (AHS) solution. Your focus will be to gather and analyse Voice of Customerproduct requirements.
You will work closely with:
- Customers at mine sites.
- Operations teams embedded at the customer sites.
- Product Support Teams.
- Engineering Team
- Commercial (Sales) Team.
- Define customer requirements for new Autonomous Mine Haulage truck features.
- Represent commercial team in value team meeting.
- Measure and communicate value of new autonomy features.
- Manage customer enhancement requests.
- Prioritise features prior to product summit.
- Update customers on upcoming content for new releases.
This contract role will run for an initial period of 12 months and is highly likely to extend for the right person. This hybrid position is based in the Brisbane CBD requiring you to work in the office 3 days per week. Domestic travel of approx. 10% is required from to time to time to meet with customers in Australia using the product. Suitable candidates who want to be based elsewhere within Australia will be considered.
The role requires that candidates either have Australian/NZ citizenship or Australian PR.
