Waiter Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing, instructing and coordinating the activities of wait staff

• Ensuring smooth service operations during peak hours

• Training new wait staff on service standards and procedures

• Assisting with seating arrangements and managing reservations

• Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly

• Monitoring inventory levels and placing orders for supplies as needed

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area

• Collaborating with management to implement improvements in service quality

• Performing administrative tasks such as shift scheduling and payroll verification

• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

• Maintaining stock control and inventory management

• Taking reservations, greeting, and seating guests

• Using the EFTPOS machine for transactions

• Ensuring the work area complies with the highest standards of cleanliness

Skills and Qualities:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on approach

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

• Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in customer service

• Proficiency in basic computer applications for administrative tasks

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
