About the Role:
We are looking for customer service professionals to join our Women's and Children's Wards on a casual basis. The Ward Clerk provides a customer focused reception service and is the first point of contact for patients, families, visitors and staff. Your primary responsibilities as the Ward Clerk will include:
- Provides the first point of contact for patient, visitors and staff.
- Maintaining and preparing patient medical records.
- Facilitating follow up appointments and investigations for patients.
- Ensuring stationary and other equipment supplies are maintained.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting,
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry,
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
