Join our team as a Ward Clerk and help support our commitment to quality patient care.
About the role:
The Administrative Officer provides a secretarial and administrative support service to the various clinical units within the Womens and Childrens Health Division. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patient, visitors and staff and you will be accountable for day-to-day activities, to the Nursing/Midiwfery Director via the Nurse/Midwife Unit Managers and Nurse/Midwife Managers.
About you:
- General experience in clerical and/or receptionist duties.
- Experience in using information systems and data entry.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining appropriate records.
- Ability to respond to a diverse range of people in a courteous, helpful manner under a variety of conditions, e.g. heavy work load, aggressive clients.
- Excellent customer service skills, including an ability to empathise with patients and relatives.
