We are seeking applications for a Relieving Ward Clerk within our Nursing Division. This casual role involves providing administrative support and customer service across various Nursing work areas based on leave and resourcing requirements.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Providing a reception service for the unit, including the management of incoming telephone calls
- Efficient processing of patient information, discharges, transfers and diet codes.
- Assistance with patient discharge process and organising follow up appointments
- Efficient and accurate filing of patients medical records
- Liaising with other departments/external services for effective functioning of the unit.
Hours:
The hours for this role may vary and fluctuate from week to week, based on Hospital requirements. Candidates will be expected to be highly flexible, although the role will predominantly involve working Monday to Friday during core business hours.
