Job description

Montefiore is looking to recruit an admin all-rounder for the position of Ward Clerk,  to join our Nursing Home unit at our Randwick campus on a permanent basis.

The Role

Reporting to the Executive Care Manager, you will be instrumental in aiding the smooth running of the unit. Whilst this role is varied, your primary responsibilities will involve coordinating the roster and ensuring the integrity of Kronos (time and attendance tool) as well as organising and managing a number of clinics, communicating between health care professionals and management along with other record keeping duties.

Essential Criteria

  • Previous experience providing administrative support in a professional, fast-paced environment
  • Experience utilising Microsoft suite including maintaining databases
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High level organisation skills in coordinating management's diary, files, meetings and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a diverse role 
  • Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Outstanding teamwork skills and willingness to help others
  • Passion for the aged community
