Job Profile: As a Ward Delivery Specialist/Storeperson, you will play a vital role in supporting the Distribution and Enhanced Services operation within your designated region. Under minimal supervision, you will be responsible for efficiently handling and distributing IV fluids at designated hospital sites, in alignment with our clients standards and procedures. Additionally, you will occasionally undertake Storeperson responsibilities within the Warehouse as required. Position Objective:
Represent our client at aligned hospitals and carry out distribution services as part of the Ward Delivery service.
Ensure efficient handling and distribution of IV fluids, adhering to directives from regional leadership.
Execute Storeperson responsibilities within the Warehouse as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Check IV fluid deliveries received at the hospital dock as Ward Delivery orders.
Record and communicate any discrepancies with received orders to the local Distribution Centre staff for investigation.
Cross-dock inbound pallets and distribute stock to hospital imprest locations according to supporting documentation.
Rotate stock on shelves to ensure older dated stock is consumed first.
Redeploy short-dated stock to high-consumption wards where possible to minimize expired stock.
Replenish stock on shelves, decanting when necessary.
Record any torn/no over-pouch or expired IV bags on discard sheets and discard on-site, submitting discard sheets to the Team Leader monthly for data capture.
Remove empty IV cartons from imprest areas/stores and place in designated waste recycling area.
Scan hospital barcodes on shelves or within on-site manual to place replenishment orders as per agreed schedules and min/max imprest levels within the wards.
Communicate any imprest level changes or labeling requirements to the WD Team Leader for system/wallchart or site manual updates.
Ensure accurate reporting of KPI measurement data, including hours on site, travel time, and kilometers traveled between customer sites.
