About the role
In this role you will work across the hospital, performing a range of support services including transport to and from medical procedures and assisting with manual handling of patients. You will assist nursing and medical staff with matters relating to patient safety and comfort. You will also communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy and courtesy to patients and staff at all times
What you bring
- Knowledge, understanding and demonstration of customer service culture in health care
- Immunisation status must be compliant with NSW Health Occupational Assessment Screening & Vaccination
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
- Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence (desirable)
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
