Our NSW Distribution Centre, based in Wetherill Park is a critical part of our National Distribution Network, providing both inbound and outbound logistics for our domestic and imported products to the major retailers.

About The Role:
Reporting to directly to the NSW Warehouse Manager, you will assist in managing our NSW Distribution Centre and small team based in Wetherill Park semi-autonomously. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring delivery standards are maintained and transport costs are monitored.
General responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership to our warehouse team;
- Promoting a safe and healthy work environment;
- Assisting in labour allocation;
- Analysing finished product distribution;
- Conducting stock checks;
- Liasing with Sales to ensure customer orders are fulfilled;
- Resolving customer enquiries;
- Taking a hands on approach to general hygiene and maintenance for the site;
- Assiting in managing our fleet of forklifts and trucks.
This position does not have the ability to work from home.
About you:
Highly motivated, with a keen eye for detail and good background in leading a logistics team (preferably in an FMCG environment), you will be willing to put in the extra mile and take a ‘hands on’ approach work with out NSW team to achieve DIFOT targets.
Ideally you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in distribution and leading a warehouse team;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Analytical and problem solving skills;
- Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines;
- Experience with ERP (JDEdwards or similar) or warehousing management systems and intermediate computer skills;
- Tertiary qualifications or study in a supply management, operations or similar would be highly regarded.
