RIF Logistics AU Pty Ltd (previously CL Logistics Pty Ltd) established in year 2000 and part of the RIF Worldwide network since 2022, rapidly growing in the Warehouse Division. Key responsibilities of this role :-
- Assisting warehouse management team with:
- The management of a small team, overseeing warehouse systems, policies, processes, and procedures
- Reviewing and optimising workflows to enhance productivity
- Monitoring costs and budgets to ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Ensuring safety and compliance standards are upheld across warehouse .
- Development of reports, proposals, and recommendations to deliver positive change in warehousing and logistics.
- Development and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for operational efficiency.
- Conducting regular inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records, adjusting inventory levels as needed to meet operational demands.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth operation and excellent customer service.
- Resolve any operational issues that arise, implementing corrective actions, as necessary.
- Optimise warehouse logistics and manage the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse, ensuring timely order fulfilment.
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance, including forklifts.
- Improvement & development of warehouse and warehouse activities
- Set clear expectations, mentor, coach and manage team performance against KPIs.
- Manage and assist in the receipt, storage, dispatch, and distribution of stock.
- Manage and maintain standards of health and safety, and security.
Experience required:
- Employment background in a full warehousing operation, incl experience using scanners and other logistics technologies.
- Ensure the warehouse operates efficiently, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organising, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
- Proven experience in warehouse administration or a similar role, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics
- Forklift operation certification and experience.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with a diverse multicultural team.
- Knowledge of safety management and quality standards in a warehouse setting. Certifications in this area are highly desirable.
- Substantial digital literacy, with strong customer service skills.
