SalaryZener Varidrive Solutions is an engineering company with over 45years experience in the Design & Manufacture of Motor Control products and solutions. Distributing product to a diverse local market and a customer base Australia wide. We pride ourselves on providing a quality product with excellent support & service. We are seeking someone that can help us ensure that goods are dispatched efficiently and to the highest standard of quality and accuracy.
Office hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00 -5:00pm. Full time (38hrs) is available or part-time (or casual) for the right candidate to fit your lifestyle, school hours or studies.
Your main duties will consist of the following:
- Co-ordinating the preparation of orders.
- Preparation & packaging of goods for despatch.
- Arrange freight and the collection of goods when ready.
- Receiving inventory.
- Administration duties such as invoicing, shipping documents and checking goods received.
- Receiving items for service.
- Daily face to face and over the phone interaction with customers and couriers.
Additional duties:
- Housekeeping duties of the despatch area.
- Assist with other administration duties as required.
- Assist with Inventory management.
The Candidate:
- Attention to detail.
- Able to work without supervision.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with couriers and customers via phone and/or email.
- No forklift license required but able to use or willing to learn to use a walker pallet lifter.
- Medium level of general computer literacy & Microsoft Office skills.
- Good team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to assist in various tasks as needed for the success of the team.
- Good time management & organisational skills.
- Ideally 2-3 years’ experience in a similar warehouse/wholesale or Internal Sales role within an industrial or electrical sector, but not essential.
- Some experience or understanding of electrical/electronic terminology would be advantageous but not essential.
