AddressThe Warehouse and Distribution Administrator is a crucial member of the team responsible for ensuring delivery of Bon Food’s goal of providing premium quality, authentic products and attentive, thorough service by delivering the right product to the right location at the right time.
Provide administrative support to the warehouse and distribution function, incorporating the Logistics Manager and warehouse functional leads to ensure stock is processed efficiently and effectively from order through to despatch and distribution, and indirectly as part of Bon Food’s wider administrative team support various cross functional administration and reporting needs.
About the job:
- Occupational Health & Safety: Proactively support the maintenance of a safe working environment by always acting in a safe manner, adhering to company policies and procedures and actively supporting occupational health and safety initiatives.
- Receiving: capturing and recording inbound stock movements.
- Order Processing: from initial order entry through to invoice creation. Managing with queries and control requirements from the Sales and Administration team.
- Route Distribution: supporting the building, planning and maintaining of daily route deliveries and reconciliation of actual performance giants the plan.
- Despatch: Booking, administrating transport and pallet processing, and monitoring despatches via third party providers.
- Administration: Carrying out administrative functions including warehouse and distribution elements of reverse logistics and credits, general reporting and response to adhoc queries.
- Being involved in other administration activities that may arise from time to time in an exciting and customer and supplier facing environment.
Skills needed to do the job:
- Administration experience in a despatch or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of transport and pallet booking and control systems
- Strong organisation skills
- Attention to detail.
- Experience with MS Office
- Accurate numeracy and data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Desirable skills include inventory Control experience and experience with ERP systems such as MYOB Advance or similar.
