With several Flavorite sites located across Victoria, this role is based at our Tatura location which currently employs over 350 employees.
We are currently seeking to fill several full time Warehouse leadership roles in our newly built facility to join a busy, diverse and collaborative team.
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will you be responsible for coordinating the warehouse functions to ensure packaging and consumables are managed efficiently and machinery and equipment are operating at optimum levels to meet customer order expectations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Management of team including recruitment; performance management; rosters, training and development
- Manage workloads through supervision and delegation
- Warehouse operations
- Auditing of packaging quality
- Undertake cleaning and maintenance work as required
- Financial period reporting
- Create, monitor and manage SWMS, risk assessments and standard operating procedures (SOP's)
- Advocate for OHS compliance
As the Warehouse Leading Hand, you will be responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in coordinating warehouse functions to ensure packaging and fruit stock are managed efficiently and machinery and equipment are operating at optimum levels to meet customer order expectations.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for ensuring packaging items and fruit are stored correctly and are easily accessible when required
- Operation of Forklift, warehouse and fruit storage equipment
- Perform higher duties in the absence of Warehouse Supervisor
- Monitor the performance of current team members and provide re-training where required
- Assist the supervisor to ensure all personnel are adhering to company policies and procedures
These are not ‘typical’ warehouse supervision positions as you will be required to utilise effective supervision skills as part of the business leadership group.
