Elme Living, is a fast-growing homeware wholesaler.
We are an experienced and knowledgeable team that imports, sells, markets, and distributes homeware and furniture items to our retail business partners, and are looking for a strong and enthusiastic Warehouse Team Leader in our packing team for our Victorian Warehouse in Tarneit.
The focus of this role is to lead our packing team in the warehouse in the effective and efficient QC and packing of products to be delivered by our freight partners from our Warehouse.
Great knowledge of all facets of the warehouse, your team, OH&S, QC and inventory processes will all help with success for both you and the company - achieved through a motivated team-oriented hands-on Team Leader role.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Manage the operations function of the Warehouse packing team to achieve business performance targets around inventory control, QC, Team leadership, quality service and high safety standards.
- Administer and handle our PRONTO warehouse management system which includes RF picking & packing.
- Oversee the preparation and accurate QC and packing process of daily outwards moving deliveries ensuring daily targets are obtained both accurately and efficiently.
- Manage team performance (both quality and quantity) ensuring goods are QC and efficiently packed and dispatched.
- Build and promote a team environment focused on engaging the team to work collaboratively, efficiently and accurately to achieve the overall company objectives.
- Initiate recommendations for continuous improvement of company processes and standard procedures.
To be successful in your application, you must be able to satisfy the following requirements:
- Enthusiastic Team Leader with a will to succeed within warehouse/distribution leadership role
- Familiarity with electronic warehouse management system
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, drive change and deliver results.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills - with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
- High level of initiative, personal drive, motivation and resilience
- Thorough attention to detail.
- Proficient PC skills in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Knowledge of OH&S policies and related experience preferred.
- Flexible 'hands-on' approach and not afraid of hard work.
- LO or LF forklift licenses highly regarded.
