Bridgewater-based Client seeking reliable Warehouse Leading Hand

Your new company 

Leading company in the milling industry who are committed to being regarded as the market leader and premier supplier of quality flour-based products in the Australian and International marketplace, established in 1899.

Your new role 

• Ensure all orders are picked correctly, palletised and labelled prior to loading. Orders are to be loaded onto trucks as per the transport coordinators' requirements and manifests.
• Ensure customer orders are serviced in full and on time or as requested by the transport coordinator and warehouse supervisor
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and cleaning schedules are updated as required
• Assist with cycle counts and stock takes and ensure variances are investigated and resolved as required
• Advise production planner, warehouse supervisor and transport coordinator on any non-supply or stocks that are running low about replenishment of inventory 
• Assist in the management and direction of inventory in and out of the warehouse
• Assist in ensuring warehouse hands complete tasks correctly
• Ensure all pallet transactions are recorded
• Coordinate and reallocate team members in any aspect of warehouse operation to meet workload requirements in any area of the warehouse (Receiving, put away, picking, loading and shipping)
• Ensure that all employees in your area of responsibility are formally and effectively inducted, and that the intent and content of our management system documentation (being all of our policies, and applicable procedures and work instructions) is effectively communicated and available to them
• Assist with the training of staff to ensure they complete tasks in accordance with specified requirements 

What you'll need to succeed 

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Previous experience in the manufacturing industry
• A forklift Licence is desirable
