AddressAbout Us: We are seeking for an experienced Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and implementing business processes for the full-time management of a Defence Stores area. This role is essential for ensuring efficient freight distribution, asset and inventory management, and hazardous material management, while adhering to Work Health Safety policies and legislation requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Establish, maintain, and implement effective business processes for the Defence Stores area.
- Oversee the dispatch and delivery of Safehand, Unclassified (routine), and Dangerous Goods.
- Manage storage, stocktaking, loans, and maintain asset registers.
- Assist with stock/asset rotations and maintenance.
- Provide support for the disposal of obsolete or redundant items.
- Assist the HAZCHEM Safety Advisor (HCSA) in monitoring and managing potential hazardous materials.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheet (SDS) registers.
- Interpret, implement, and maintain Work Health Safety policies and legislation for the area.
- Assist JC2SPO with the transition from MILIS to ERP.
- Provide regular status reports on warehouse operations.
Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in warehouse and inventory management, particularly within a Defence environment.
- They should possess excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have experience managing hazardous materials.
- The candidate should also have a comprehensive understanding of Work Health Safety policies and be able to manage transitions effectively.
- Proven experience in warehouse management.
- Knowledge of Defence Stores processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with freight distribution and hazardous material management.
- Strong asset and inventory management skills.
- Ability to interpret and implement Work Health Safety policies.
- Experience with MILIS and ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- NV1 Security Clearance.
