Are you a skilled and proactive leader with a background in warehouse management, specifically within the construction materials industry? We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team and play a key role in optimizing warehouse operations and distribution in the Villawood area.
Your Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee the end-to-end warehouse operations for our polymer products.
- Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of polymer materials and finished goods.
Team Management:
- Lead and inspire a team of warehouse personnel.
- Create and maintain a positive and efficient working environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Inventory Control:
- Implement and manage inventory control systems for polymer materials.
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.
Quality Assurance:
- Enforce stringent quality control measures for polymer products.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient polymer storage and retrieval.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns related to polymer warehouse operations.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in the construction supplies industry.
- Strong understanding of polymer materials and storage requirements.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance in the polymer manufacturing sector (preferred)
- Proficient in using warehouse management software.
- Must have full working rights in Australia.
