Manufacturing Management / Supervisor Melbourne Permanent / Full Time Great Salary $120k - $150k Permanent Role Broadmeadows location Located in Broadmeadows, we are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to join this leading provider of food products. The purpose of this role is to ensure the implementation of effective and efficient warehouse management and distribution practices which ensures cost effective use of resources, is customer focused to allow the operation to meet or exceed the levels of quality and food safety standards required under legislation and is targeted by the client.

You will be a hands on manager, responsible for a 1500 pallet warehouse which operates 2 shifts Monday to Friday. Saturday’s do come up from time to time depending on production and/or client demands. Your duties will include: Efficient and effective management of warehouse Ensuring all incoming goods comply with QA procedures Accurate and timely receipting of inwards good in BC system Ensure inventory accuracy is maintained by warehouse employees using scanning technology Timely and accurate pallet management for the site Liaise with freight forwarders to book containers for domestic and export loading Manage and ensure accurate and timely picking of customer orders including batch management is maintained and meeting of delivery lead times Forecasting of freight and other associated logistic costs are completed Liaise with customer service, 3PL and planning departments regarding supplying raw materials Provide leadership and guidance to your team Ensure safe and effective loading of trucks, containers, dock management Key skills required to be successful in this role…
